The Home of Rest for Horses has elected to continue
to support BEVA by funding subscriptions to the Equine Veterinary
Journal (EVE) to BEVA Student Members. Since The Home introduced this sponsorship four years ago the number of students benefiting has grown from 109 to 179. EVE is the equine clinical journal most used by veterinary students and its inclusion in the student membership is a key factor when students join the Association or renew their membership.
Veterinary lecturers are keenly aware of the value of the EVE sponsorship.
Professor Alistair Barr, Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Surgery at the University of Bristol, said, "By providing EVE to our BEVA student members, the Home of Rest for Horses increases the students awareness of equine medicine and surgery and introduces them to a lifelong learning resource that will help and support them through their clinical careers."
