Hoof Picking

Looking for something to do in the Easter holidays that is different, fun and informative?  Why not come along to The Horse Trust’s Home of Rest for Horses to get “up close and personal” with some of the charity’s residents.
The charity, which is open to the public every day from 2 - 4 pm, is holding meet and greet sessions in its newly built demonstration area at the stables in Speen, near Princes Risborough between 2.15 and 3.00 every afternoon from Sunday 5th April to Saturday 18th April.

The Trust’s grooms will happily talk through the horse’s background and history, demonstrate basic grooming techniques, explain the importance of daily hoof picking and explain the points of the horse

This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the horses in the care of the charity and find out more about the important work of The Horse Trust.

Admission to the sanctuary is free but don’t forget to bring along your purse or wallet as any donation you can give, no matter how large or small, will help The Horse Trust feed, house and care for the horses of today and tomorrow.
