To help us direct your question to the correct person and to respond as quickly as possible, please select one of the options below, complete your information and we will be back in touch with you shortly.

Welfare Concerns We don’t have field officers for investigating horse welfare concerns so if you are concerned about the welfare of a horse or pony and want to report it, please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999, or World Horse Welfare on 08000 480180. If you would like advice on what constitutes a welfare concern, please complete the contact form below.
Find a Home for Your Horse Please read below before completing the form. In recent years The Horse Trust has seen a significant rise in the number of welfare cases needing urgent veterinary attention. There have also been many abandoned horses found, needing specialist care. As a result of this we are currently at full capacity with over 90 horses, ponies and donkeys, so unfortunately we cannot admit any more horses into the sanctuary. For information on further options open to you please fill in the form below, giving as much information as possible.
Loaning a Horse From The Horse Trust Please read below before completing the form. We don’t currently have any horses or ponies available to loan as most of our horses are fully retired after a long working life providing service to their communities. If we do ever have any of our younger horses available to loan, this information will be shown on our website. If you are interested in re-homing a horse or pony from a charity, The National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) has a list of organisations that offer re-homing schemes on their website. If you are new to horse ownership or would like advice about buying or loaning a horse, please complete the contact form below:
General Enquiry Form The General Enquiry form is not intended to be used for horse enquiries. If you have an enquiry about a welfare concern, re-homing your horse or loaning a horse from The Horse Trust please go to the appropriate ‘Contact Us’ tab. If a horse enquiry is sent through the General Enquiry form, it may take us longer to respond to you.
