The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) nominated The Horse Trust as their charity of the year for 2013. Veterinary Nurses from across the UK took part in a wide range of events and challenges raising over £3,500 for our charity.

The BVNA was formed in 1965 and is the only national representative body for veterinary nurses. Their aim is to promote animal health and welfare through the ongoing development of professional excellence in veterinary nursing.

Jeanette Allen, Chief Executive of The Horse Trust, said “We admire the dedication and commitment of Veterinary Nurses across the UK and would like to thank them for their fundraising efforts. We are so grateful to the BVNA for choosing to support The Horse Trust as their Charity of the Year for 2013’.
