Woody 2015

Woody is a Belgian Warmblood, who came to The Horse Trust in January 2012 after being retired from the Light Cavalry HAC due to lameness.  The Light Cavalry HAC largely carries out ceremonial duties and gives an additional presence to the public's view of the Honourable Artillery Company.  Before his time with the Light Cavalry, Woody was a charger for the Kings Troop.  Chargers are ridden by Officers and lead the Troop. The Kings Troop is made up of both trained mounted and fighting soldiers and largely carries out ceremonial duties and pulls the state gun.

Woody's Army name is the rather spectacular 'Lord Loose Fish'! Woody is a very cheeky chap and a real character. He is thoroughly enjoying his retirement and has made many new friends.
