Mull, the striking skewbald was the first ever coloured horse to serve for Scotland Police. Born in 1996, this 17hh gelding began his career with Strathclyde Police in 2003 and latterly Police Scotland when all 8 Scottish police forces merged.  Mull has carried out all police duties throughout his career, including parades, football matches, concerts and public order duties.  Mull was used extensively in the policing of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow because of his confidence around large crowds. Mull's striking looks and friendly nature meant that he was always very popular with the public.  In 2004 Mull took part in the Lord Mayor's Parade and he was the only Scottish police horse to ever take part.  He arrived at The Horse Trust in August 2016 with fellow police horse Kilsyth. Both of them were retired due to lameness issues.
