02/10/2014 Equine Behaviour Modification Techniques

On the 25th and 26th November 2014 The Horse Trust will be running two new, one day CPD courses for equine veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses on behaviour modification techniques. Practitioners can enhnace their skills in handling difficult horses using the objective, evidence-based principles of equitation science. The course will review equine ethology and learning theory and explain how these principles can be used to address behavioural problems commonly encountered in practice, for example when handling needle/clipper shy horses or horses that won’t go into stocks/vehicles.: Read full story>>
