10/12/2016 Mounted Police Association raise money for The Horse Trust this Christmas

09/11/2016 Rehoming success as the year draws to a close

The team here at The Horse Trust are very proud that in a space of year since we launched our rehoming scheme, all of our horses have found homes for life. We are so delighted of this achievement and we hope we can continue to change the lives for our next residents who will be available to rehome in the next year. 11/11/2016 They gave their tomorrow, so we could have our today.

Today The Horse Trust remembers all the brave men and women who sacrificed so much to serve our country in both World Wars, and the many wars and conflicts since then. While we cannot compare the loss of human life with the loss of our equine allies, we do acknowledge the crucial role that the horses and mules have played in providing support to armies in the field of battle. While remembering all those who lost their lives during the wars, we will also remember the horses that valiantly carried on; despite appalling conditions and the terrors they faced daily.: Read full story>>
